> Giacomo Lepri (link), insieme ad altri sette amici, fonda la Cooperativa Agricola Co.r.ag.gio, che all'inizio non gestiva nessun lotto di terre pubbliche.
> Nel 2012 viene presentata una vertenza (link) per sottoporre all’attenzione delle istituzioni il problema dell’adeguata utilizzazione delle aree di proprietà pubblica a vocazione agricola presenti nel territorio della capitale allo scopo di far procedere le istituzioni nella direzione dell’acquisizione e della relativa concessione tramite bando pubblico di quei terreni pubblici lasciati in condizione di degrado; sempre nel 2012 viene organizzato un presidio di circa un mese nella Tenuta di Tormarancia, all’interno del Parco dell’Appia Antica.
> Nello stesso anno, il 2012, esce un Decreto Legge che propone la vendita dei beni pubblici, tra cui anche le terre pubbliche, quindi ogni cooperazione che si fosse attivata per evitare la svendita di questi terreni sarebbe diventata ancora più importante.
> Nel 2013 “Terre Pubbliche ai Giovani Agricoltori”, è una petizione promossa sulla piattaforma Change.org (insieme a "Terra! Onlus" (ink) e "Antimafie da Sud"(link) ) finalizzata a creare una presa di coscienza sulle potenzialità della Tenuta di Borghetto San Carlo e dei suoi 22 ettari pubblici di terreno coltivabili.
> Nel luglio 2014 la Cooperativa partecipa ad un bando per l'assegnazione delle terre di Borghetto San Carlo, tenuta Cervelletta, tenuta Redicicoli (link) e Tor de Cenci e nel 2015 la Co.r.ag.gio. vince il bando comunale “Roma, città da coltivare”, bando che affida ai ragazzi e ragazze della Cooperativa Co.r.ag.gio la gestione dell'area verde di Borghetto San Carlo sulla via Cassia a Roma.
> Giacomo Lepri, un giovane laureato in antropologia culturale, oltre ad essere diventato il presidente della cooperativa agricola Co.r.ag.gio (link) e a far parte del comitato scientifico della onlus Terra! (link), è stato lui a creare le basi che quindi hanno dato inizio a tutto.

Quando sono stato dai ragazzi della cooperativa Co.r.ag.gio sulla via Cassia a Roma all'incirca nella zona della stazione di "La Storta", era già il periodo nel quale la terra iniziava a riposare e sarebbe stata poi seminata. In quella giornata ho incontrato alcuni di loro: Daria, Alessia, Camilla e Federico un melting pot di umanità perfetta per comprendere cosa sia stata e cosa sia diventata la cooperativa; ma erano anche i giorni durante i quali iniziavamo a preoccuparci per il virus micidiale che poi avrebbe costretto, giustamente, tutti noi alla reclusione necessaria.
When I was with the guys of the Co.r.ag.gio co-op, in Via Cassia in Rome, roughly in the area of the "La Storta" station, it was already the period when the soil began to rest, it would then be sown and that day I met some people from the cooperative: Daria, Alessia, Camilla and Federico who represent a perfect melting pot of humanity to understand what the cooperative has been and what it has become; but those were also the days during which we began to worry about the deadly virus which then would have rightly forced all of us to the necessary home imprisonment .

Lei segue anche la selezione per la organizzazione WWOOF (link) Italia, quindi valuta eventuali privati che vogliano entrare a fare parte della rete di chi ospita ruralmente i guest che viaggiano usando il sito WWOOF in Italia ma agendo anche dal mondo. Nella cooperativa agricola si occupa, non solo ma soprattutto, dell'organizzazione della vendita degli ortaggi e degli altri prodotti assolutamente tutti biologici. Mente organizzativa, tiene e anima i contatti con i clienti via whatsapp e rende alla cooperativa valori di conoscenze e know-how che possiede, secondo me anche extra agricoli, che sorreggono l'aspetto di concretezza utile per un progetto rurale naturale come il loro. A molti scettici potrebbe apparire come la "meta di illusi giovani sognatori", ma quando si incappa in 22 ettari di terre pubbliche e, come nel loro caso, sottratte al cemento e perfettamente insediate nel cuore urbano, non si può che lottare sognando e cavalcando il meraviglioso e stimolante ossimoro per il quale mentre spargi i semi nel campo se alzi lo sguardo, laggiù, lontano, vedi la via cassia nuova che è una delle maggiori arterie del traffico romano; in quell'istante assapori il gusto di avere fatto qualcosa in più e che va al di là della coltivazione biologica, perchè hai salvato un pezzo di terra dalla cementificazione e la fai vivere in maniera che renda alimenti e socialità per tutti coloro che la apprezzano e che partecipano. Eppure la difficoltà reale sta nel provocare l'atto contrario, facendo in modo che siano gli abitanti della via cassia e di Roma ad alzare lo sguardo, finalmente coscienti del fatto che tu sia laggiù a seminare in quel campo talmente vicino alla città. Ecco, Daria quando la incontri mentre ti porge quella tua cassetta che hai ordinato con ortaggi misti biologici, le uova o le salse, ti fa percepire perfettamente che quella cooperativa non è un sogno bucolico ma la realtà: è come se lei in quell'istante, ti stesse vendendo una parte della loro storia che non è certo un sogno ma che invece è stata ed è una grande impresa. Lei ti propone la consapevolezza del fatto che mangiare alimenti rurali e contadini dovrebbe essere un gesto agricolo oltre che alimentare e te la trasmette molto bene questa sensazione ma al di là di questo aspetto, comunque, sono cose molto buone quelle che i ragazzi e le ragazze della cooperativa creano e vendono: ed è questo quello che conta.

She also follows the selection for the italian WWOOF organization, then evaluates any private individuals who want to become part of the network of those who host rural travellers who move using the WWOOF site in Italy and also acting from the world. In the agricultural cooperative she deals, not only but above all, with the organization of the sale of vegetables and other absolutely all organic products. Organizational mind, maintains and animates contacts with customers via whatsapp and offers the cooperative values of knowledge and know-how it owns, in my opinion also extra-agricultural, as well as supporting the aspect of concreteness useful for a natural rural project that for many skeptics might seem the "destination of deluded young dreamers", but when you run into 22 hectares free to cultivate public land and as in their case also realizing the chance of not giving way to the spread of concrete builduings and perfectly settled in the urban heart, you can only fight dreaming and riding the wonderful and stimulating oxymoron for which while you sow the seeds in the field, if you look up, far away, you see the via cassia nuova which is one of the main arteries of Roman traffic; in that instant you savor the taste of having done something more and that goes beyond organic cultivation, because you saved a piece of land from the cementification and make it live in a way that create food and sociability for all those who appreciate it and will participate. Yet the real difficulty lies in provoking the opposite act, making sure that it is the "the city" that will look up you, so that the urban people may become aware of those young people which are down over there sowing in that field so close to the city. Here in their land, when you meet Daria while she hands you that box of yours that you ordered with mixed organic vegetables, eggs or sauces, you perfectly perceive that the cooperative is not a bucolic dream but a solid reality: she is selling you a part of the their story which is certainly not a dream but which instead was and is a great undertaking. She proposes you the awareness of the fact that eating rural and peasant food should be an agricultural gesture as working for that food is, she conveys this feeling very well and it's sure that in any case are very good and genuine the organic crops that they harvest and sell to anyone.

Arriva dalla provincia di Como, in Lombardia; si occupa a tutto tondo delle mansioni legate alla semina, alla raccolta, a volte alla vendita perchè ognuno di loro alla fine fa un pò di tutto; come quando accadono eventi all'interno delle terre della cooperativa che richiamano gente per concerti, serate a tema, incontri didattici e quant'altro. E' ironica (vedi foto...), riservata, gioiosa e come quasi tutti i collaboratori della cooperativa è giovane ed è sicuramente una valida alleata per portare avanti un progetto. Probabilmente ha scoperto una parte di sè mettendosi a confronto con il terreno,la sua coltivazione, terra che è capacissima di renderci l'aspetto di autenticità che esiste in noi se accettiamo di porci alla prova e tutti questi ragazzi e ragazze che collaborano con la cooperativa lo fanno. Tutti. (n.b. Camilla cucina una versione di riso con il condimento dei pizzoccheri della Valtellina che è da urlo... Fatevi dare la ricetta)
She comes from the Como province, in Lombardy region; takes care of all the tasks related to the sowing of the harvest, sometimes to the sale because each of them in the end does a little bit of everything, like when events occur within the cooperative's lands that attract people for concerts, theme nights, educational meetings and so on. Like almost all the collaborators of the cooperative, she is young, ironic (see pic...), she speaks little, she is joyful and she is certainly a valid ally to carry out a project. Probably she has discovered a part of herself by comparing himself with the rural jobs that is very capable of rendering us the aspect of authenticity that exists in us, if we accept to test ourselves and all these guys who collaborate with the cooperative do it. Ha studiato al Politecnico di Torino, è un tacito entusiasta. Vedo con piacere che accetta le sfide e si mette molto in gioco; ha le idee chiare e si trova in cooperativa dove lavora da quasi un anno dopo avere vinto una sorta di concorso a step che alla fine prevedeva l'inserimento nella Co.r.ag.gio per il lavoro agricolo e per tutto ciò che serve ad un progetto in continua evoluzione come il loro. E' lui che mi parla molto e mi spiega la storia del percorso negli anni della cooperativa. Federico ha tanta voglia di fare, come tutti loro, ma ciò che lo contraddistingue, così come lo dico, credo sia il fatto di non sottrarsi; intendo dire che è un ragazzo al quale non devi segnalare cosa serve, perchè lui sta già cercando di farlo o si propone per dare un aiuto... Come nel caso del sito web della cooperativa che lui ha creato con gioa ed entusiasmo.
He studied at the Polytechnic of Turin, is a tacit enthusiast. I see with pleasure that he accepts the challenges and puts himself at stake a lot; he has clear ideas and is in this cooperative after winning a sort of step competition which eventually included the joining in the Co-op to do agricultural jobs and all that is needed for a constantly evolving project like theirs. It is he who speaks to me a lot and explains the history of the cooperative. Like all of them Federico as well has a great desire to do, but what distinguishes him I think is the fact that he doesn't back out; i mean he is a boy to whom you don't have to say what he have to do, because he is already trying to do it or proposes himself to do it ... Like the website of the cooperative that he created with joy and enthusiasm.

Proviene dal Piemonte, per l'esattezza da Grugliasco un piccolo paese della primissima cintura torinese. Sono sicuro che cerchi e viva prima il "come", la qualità dei rapporti, ed è con questa coscienza che immagino sia arrivata fino a Roma dopo essere passata anche in UK collaborando con alcune no-profit e vivendo molte esperienze nonostante la sua giovane età. Si occupa un pò di tutto e come gli altri, se ci si deve adattare per aiutare il gruppo lei lo fa. Mi ha accompagnato in un breve giro per i campi; qualche zona era seminata, qualcun'altra riposava per la rotazione o attendeva di essere seminata. Dopo aver parlato con lei ho compreso molto bene che quei 22 ettari non rappresentano solo un punto di arrivo come spesso l'agricoltura significa, ma un punto di partenza per creare un'opportunità; una formula nuova e soprattutto giovane, che addirittura esuli dalla sola coltivazione, in senso stretto del termine e che racchiuda la possibilità di un nuovo modello di vita che ci spingerà sempre più verso l'aumento dell'autosufficienza alimentare. Tutto questo anche per creare (giustamente) "una rilevante alternativa alimentare" disponibile, accessibile per tutti e di qualità in opposizione alle famose multinazionali assassine dell'ambiente e dell'alimentazione globalizzata ma regine della GDO, contro la quale oltretutto instaurano ormai da anni una lotta che genera acquisti, da parte della grande distribuzione, tramite aste alimentari con prezzi al ribasso. Per colpa di questo schifoso sistema si producono effetti lavorativi come il caporalato e non solo, ma sempre e comunque a discapito della qualità degli alimenti e di noi fruitori... Ma diciamo anche molto più semplicemente che io, come chiunque, stando con i piedi sulle zolle della loro cooperativa, guardandomi intorno vedo che il loro terreno sta bene perchè viene rispettato; se poi parlo con i ragazzi della cooperativa percepisco energia buona insieme all'alta qualità delle idee, dei presupposti e se poi ordino e assaggio il cibo delle loro cassette miste (così come ho fatto) mi rendo conto che tutto funziona perchè percepisco gusti dimenticati e che solitamente non si assaporano assumendo la frutta e la verdura della grande distribuzione per cui, alla fine, questa diventa la prima vittoria. Quì alla Co.r.ag.gio le persone partecipano, si radunano e si ritrovano nella cooperativa anche per le manifestazioni che i ragazzi e le ragazze tutti insieme organizzano; come un pic nic, un corso rurale, un concerto... Perchè quì si sta bene e quella che noi chiamiamo "normalità" e che ci lasciamo alle spalle quando entriamo in un luogo come questo, la ritroviamo migliorata e più autentica sulle loro terre perchè da loro esiste la normalità dei cicli vitali, della socialità, del fare rete ed è per questo motivo che entrando in cooperativa siamo felici di lasciarci alle spalle, almeno per un po', la nostra vita più urbana che così tanto normale non è. Credo che questo tipo di particolari, siano un pò il significato del "come" vivere le esperienze che interessano ad Alessia.
She comes From Piedmont, to be exact from Grugliasco a small town from the very first Turin belt in the from Piedmont region. I'm sure she looks for and lives first the "how", the quality of relationships, and it is with this awareness that I imagine she got to Rome after passing also in the UK collaborating with some non-profits and living many experiences despite his young age. She takes care of everything and like the others if she has to adapt to help the group, she does it. He accompanied me on a short tour to have a look around cultivated lots ; some areas were sown, some others rested for rotation or waited to be sown. Talking to her, I had the clear feeling how their 22 hectares do not represent a point of arrival as agriculture often means, but a starting point to create an opportunity, a new young formula, that even goes beyond cultivation, in the strict sense of the term, enclosing the possibility of a new model of life that will push us more and more towards increasing food self-sufficiency. This is to create (rightly) "a relevant food alternative" available, accessible and of quality in opposition to the famous multinational corporations killing the environment and the globalized food but queens of the Large supermarket chains aginst which they have been waging for years a "struggle for the low prices" that generates purchases through auctions global food with downward price spiral and therefore producing work effects such as the in Italy so-called "caporalato" (illegal hiring) and not only, always and in any case at the expense of the food quality ; here in their land, let's say that much more simply if I, like anyone who does it, with my feet on their sods, I look around, I see that the ground health is good because it's respected, if I talk to these guys I perceive a good energy together with high quality of the ideas they have and if I taste the food of their mixed boxes (i did it) , I realize that everything works because I perceive forgotten tastes and that they i cannot savored by eating fruits and vegetables bought by Large supermarket chains and so this is the first important victory definitely. Here people participate, gather and find themselves in the cooperative also for the things that the boys all organize together; as an event, a picnic, a rural educative course, a musical concert ... Because here people coming from urban they feel good and the "normality" that they leave behind shoulders when they reach a place like this co-op becomes the "not normality" : because this Co-op is really the example of normalcy of the life cycles and sociality. I think these details are a bit of the meaning of "how" to live experiences, which Alessia cares about.
Al pari degli eroi rurali i ragazzi della cooperativa hanno una forte inclinazione alla passione per ciò che fanno, ma nel loro caso credo abbiano fatto una scelta ragionata cercando continuamente un confronto con le istituzioni per creare un percorso costruttivo in maniera da produrre poi gesti e fatti che migliorino la qualità della vita di tutti e tutto: del terreno, di chi fruisce dei loro prodotti rurali, iniziative ed eventi e chiaramente anche della loro. Sono anche profondamente convinto, ma è una mia idea, che finchè in qualche maniera non si sovvertirà la pressione capitalistica creando un meccanismo alimentare alternativo, non si potrà pensare di creare un modello che funzioni e che soprattutto sia funzionale all'ambiente: non dovremmo mai dimenticare questo aspetto.
In the mood of passion as all the rural heroes are, the boys and girls of this co-op have an inclination to the passion for what they do but in their case along their path, I think they made a reasoned choice by continually approaching to a comparison with the institutions in order to create then gestures and facts that improve everyone's quality of life: of the land, of those who use their rural products, initiatives and events as well their quality of life. I am also deeply convinced that in my opinion until somehow the capitalist pressure is subverted and an alternative food mechanism is created, one cannot think of creating a model that works above all for the environment: this is must to avoid doing simply gardening, which is beautiful but which doesn't change the quality of a community alimentary life.

Per quanto riguarda i fatti, io non posso raccontarvi nulla perchè tocca a voi, che state leggendo questo post, creare dei gesti concreti e partecipativi, magari considerando l'idea che il "km0" dovrebbe nascere dalle nostre gambe e risiedere nelle nostre mentalità, diventando lo spostamento che NON FANNO gli alimenti grazie al fatto che noi dedichiamo un POCO del nostro tempo, ogni settimana, per raggiungere un contadino vicino: il più vicino possibile. Un atteggiamento di questo tipo credo che renderebbe quel "km 0" più rurale e realmente assente; oltretutto vivere momenti a contatto con la terra farebbe stare molto meglio noi e i nostri figli, agendo in maniera più consapevole e diventando un esempio e non una sterile opinione della quale non ce ne facciamo ormai più nulla. Soprattutto in questo momento di dovuta reclusione (coronavirus), credo sia ormai chiaro a chiunque che noi non serviamo più all'ambiente, ma è lui che invece serve a noi per farci vivere e non soccombere: basterebbe aiutarlo a fare il suo antico mestiere vitale e di filtro del mondo.
FACTS

I believe this attitude would make more rural and truly absent the "zero kilometer"; therby living moments in the open air in contact with the earth would make us and our children feel much better, in a more conscious way, because it would become an example and not only a sterile opinion of which we really have no use for it and ithink it has become clear especially in this moment of due imprisonment: the environment don't need us while opposite we absolutely need it .
