La scelta professionale di Chiara e di suo marito è stata importante proprio perchè è coincisa con una scelta sia di vita professionale che familiare; quello che ho percepito stando con lei ascoltandola, accompagnandola e fotografandola durante ìl lavoro di raccolta è stato il fatto di trovarmi di fronte ad una persona con le idee ferme e limpide nei confronti del rispetto che è necessario nutrire per il terreno, per la sua chimica, per la sua vita. Per Chiara credo sia facile perchè il suo non è un comportamento razionale bensì istintivo e passionale per cui non potrebbe fare altro che agire nella maniera nella quale vive e lavora. Insieme al marito Simone e ai loro figli, Arianna che ha quasi 10 anni e Teo di 5 anni, hanno deciso nel 2016 di stabilirsi in questo borgo caratterizzato dalla forte natura boschiva e dall'incontaminata terra che solitamente in montagna è molto difficoltoso trovare annessa all'abitazione, a causa delle diverse suddivisioni ereditarie susseguitesi negli anni che hanno provocato la separazione delle case dai loro terreni e quindi oggi gli appezzamenti di terra nelle aree di montagna sono molto piccoli, lontani tra loro e dalle abitazioni.

The professional choice of Chiara and her husband was important precisely because it coincided with a choice of both professional and family life; what I perceived being with her, listening to her, accompanying her and photographing her during the harvesting work was the fact of finding myself in front of a person with firm and clear ideas towards the respect that it is necessary to nurture for the soil, for its chemistry , for his life. For Chiara I think it is easy because hers is not a rational behavior but rather an instinctive and passionate one, so she could not do anything but act in the way in which she lives and works. Together with her husband Simone and their children, Arianna who is almost 10 years old and Teo who is 5 years old, they decided in 2016 to settle in this village characterized by strong wooded nature and uncontaminated land that is usually very difficult to find annexed to the dwelling, due to the fact that the various families, due to the different hereditary subdivisions that have followed one another over the years, have separated the houses from their land and therefore today the plots of land in the mountain areas are very small, far from each other and from housing.

Le erbe sono sfogliate a mano e lavorate solo manualmente mentre l'essiccazione avviene senza forzature grazie ad un essiccatoio che lei usa a freddo, quindi a basse temperature facendolo lavorare a 35 gradi per preservare le proprietà salutari dei principi attivi e le caratteristiche organolettiche. Nel laboratorio Chiara confeziona i vari prodotti usando barattoli in vetro e altre confezioni morbide tutte totalmente biodegradabili e compostabili.

E' normale che loro sperino di risolvere il problema della mancanza di una strada asfaltata che porti facilmente alla cascina per rendere più semplici la vita e le attività rurali quotidiane.

Indubbiamente il fatto che non ci sia una via per accedere velocemente e facilmente all'azienda a volte rende le cose maggiormente faticose e certamente le ha complicate durante la ristrutturazione della loro casa per la difficoltà di trasportare i materiali edili, ma allo stesso tempo in quel sentiero di 500 metri che ti culla in mezzo ai boschi si riattivano i sensi; l'odore del legno umido, delle muffe, il suono del fogliame, il rumore dei tuoi passi.

Si perchè finalmente i passi "suonano" e allora d'istinto tu butti lo sguardo verso la terra, guardi il terreno camminando. Mentre percorro per quel sentiero penso "ma quando mai guardo dove metto i piedi, dove cammino e dove vado? Quando?" Mai. E vi assicuro che in quel tratto di 500 metri sommerso dalla vegetazione, per quei 10 minuti di cammino, a me è sembrato di entrare in un mondo totalmente differente, potrei dire quasi come andare sott'acqua o volare su un aereo: una sensazione completamente diversa. Un percorso talmente bello, intonso, immobile a tal punto da sembrare fuori dal mondo e che in soli 10 minuti calma talmente la vita intorno e dentro te da trascinare anche te fuori dal tuo, di mondo: questo è in qualche modo impagabile e allo stesso tempo unico e naturale e se riusciamo a sentirlo, significa che siamo in sintonia con quella famiglia che in fondo al bosco crea alimenti sani con gioia e fatica e senza strada ma con una direzione ben chiara.

And I assure you that in that stretch of 500 meters submerged by vegetation, for those 10 minutes of walking, it seemed to me to enter a totally different world, I could almost say like going underwater or flying on a plane: a completely different genre mood. A path so beautiful, unspoiled, immobile and that slows down your life to the point of seeming out of this world and that in just 10 minutes takes you out of anything: this is somehow priceless and at the same time unique and natural and if we can to hear it means that we have the same sensitivity as that family that in the depths of the forest creates healthy food with joy and effort and without path but with a clear direction.
